 There are some differences between American English and British English in pronunciation，spellings and expressions. For example，the word " address”is pronounced /a'dres/ in British English while it is pronounced /'sedres/ in American English. The word " colour" is British spelling while " color" is American spelling. English people usually take the underground，but Americans take the subway. Though it's not difficult for the people from America and England to understand each other, knowing about these is very helpful for our English study.
