borrow和lend都含有“借”的意思，但意義不同。
borrow意為“借來”，相對于主語來說是“借進，借人”。如：Can 1 borrow your umbrella?我能借一下你的傘嗎？
borrow 常和from 連用，即borrow sth. from …“從……借進”。如：I borrowed a book from the library yesterday.我昨天從圖書館借了一本書，而lend也是‘借”，但相對于主語來說是“借出”，常和to搭配，即lend sth. to sb.=lend sb. sth.把某物借給某人。如: Could you lend your bike to me?你能把你的自行車借給我嗎？
