On the one hand, advertisements are of great help to our everyday life. Firstly, with the help of ads, consumers can have enough information about the products, which can help them make a good choice. Secondly, it is enjoyable to read ads with attrarctive pictures and original language. What’s more, PSAs can help consumers realize some social issues.
However, on the other hand, advertisements can bring bad effects on people’s life. It seems that some ads don’t tell the truths, which mislead consumers. Besides, some ads cover too much space in newspapers and magazines, and ads often interrupt people when they are watching TV. Worse still, ads cause people to buy unnecessary things.
