Dear Sir or Madam,
     I am grateful to you for reading my letter of application. With the 2012 London Olympic Games
drawing near, it is my honor to apply for the position of a volunteer. The reasons as follows will account
for my being suitable for it.
     It is this special event that I have been expecting for a long time. First of all, I can serve all the guests
from all over the world heart and soul. Besides, I have a rich knowledge about Chinese history, so that I
can do the work well and spread the Chinese culture. What's more, I can speak fluent English, which
enables me to communicate with people smoothly. As a consequence, I will value it a great deal and do
whatever I can if I could be accepted to be a volunteer.
     I would appreciate it if you could give me an early reply.
