The Lunar New Year is drawing near. At the end of this term, my class will have a party. The classroom has been decorated with colorful ribbons and balloons ahead of time. We are all very excited about the party, at which we will exchange gifts, make New Year wishes, put on performances as well as play games. It’s great fun receiving a gift from someone else and we all want to give a gift to make the receiver feel special.
I have had my gift ready. I prepared a notebook ,which is very special because there are many beautiful poems on its papers. I copied a piece of Tagore’s work on the first paper, which expresses my best wishes to the receiver. I hope I can get a cup which I have always longed for. I can hardly wait for the party and I am sure we will have a wonderful time then.
