　　Many students like listening to music while they are studying, but many parents insist that listening to music while studying may have a negative effect．An American scientist recently carried out an experiment in which he proved that parents' idea was right．

　　First, students tend to follow the rhythm of the music and sing one or two lines of lyrics, which will distract them from their study．Second, students' states are always calm when they are studying, but when they listen to music, especially rock music, they will become excited, which affects their study．

　　In a word, I don't think listening to music while studying is a good idea．
