本課中的食物可分為三類：a．Vegetable(蔬菜)：tomatoes，broccoli，carrot。b．Fruits(水果)：bananas，oranges，apples，strawberries。c．The others(其他)：hamburgers，French fries，ice cream，salad，eggs，chicken同學們記憶時可按類別總結記憶，這樣才能記得更快更準呀！還要注意：不可數名詞沒有復數形式；可數名詞復數形式可用來表示一類事物。同時還要注意一些名詞的復數形式：(1)一般名詞在詞尾加-s。如：orange-oranges。(2)以-o，-s，-sh，-ch及-x結尾的名詞，在詞尾加-es構成復數形式。如：tomato-tomatoes。(3)有些以o結尾，是外來語或縮寫名詞，則加-s。如；photo-photes。(4)以輔音字母加-y結尾的名詞，則把-y去掉，加-ies。如：family-families，strawberry-strawberries。
